Preview images show details of new homes under construction at Fairham

The first detailed pictures previewing homes being built by Bellway within the new Fairham neighbourhood, south of Nottingham, have now been released.

Bellway is building 210 homes across two neighbouring developments off Nottingham Road: 117 homes at Torvill Park; and 93 properties at Beaumont Fold, which are being built under the company’s Ashberry Homes brand.

The first homes at both developments were released for sale at the end of last month (July).

Four showhomes are due to open across the two developments shortly – the three-bedroom Alyssum and Valerian styles at Beaumont Fold and the three-bedroom Spinner and four-bedroom Weaver at Torvill Park.

Steve Smith, Sales Director for Bellway East Midlands, said: “These computer-generated images indicate the high-quality design of the homes and the spacious, pedestrian-friendly layout of the streets we are building at Torvill Park and Beaumont Fold.

“We worked closely with the local authority during the design process to ensure that we created a development which would complement existing homes in the area. We’ve achieved this through careful attention to detail, from window styles and brick detailing to the choice of materials such as brick and render.

“At the same time, we have also ensured that these are highly energy-efficient modern homes, with solar PV panels and electric vehicle charging points to help residents minimise their carbon impact.”

The new Fairham neighbourhood is being created five miles south of the city centre, and is planned to deliver 3,000 new homes, community facilities and 33 acres of sports pitches and recreational space.

Bellway’s two developments will deliver a mix of 189 two, three and four-bedroom homes for private sale, alongside 21 one, two and three-bedroom affordable homes – five at Torvill Park and 16 at Beaumont Fold.

A large children’s play area will also be created at Beaumont Fold, while green outdoor space is being incorporated into both developments.

There’s currently a choice of four-bedroom houses available to reserve at Torvill Park, priced from £509,950, and three-bedroom houses at Beaumont Fold from £319,950.
