Network Rail have found the fault and the signalling is now restored.
East Midlands Railways said:
‘There has been a fault with the signalling system at Nottingham, disrupting our trains on the Nottingham/London, Leicester/Lincoln/Grimsby, Crewe/Derby/Newark, Worksop/Nottingham and Matlock/Nottingham routes.
‘Network Rail have found the fault and the signalling is now restored.
Trains in and out of Nottingham are delayed, and we have multiple cancellations
The following routes will be suspended for the remainder of the day:
Nottingham – Skegness
Nottingham – Mansfield / Worksop
Norwich – Liverpool Lime Street
Lincoln – Leicester
Newark Castle – Crewe
