Rex Gooding accepting donations for Christmas Shoebox Appeal

Sewa Day Nottingham, a charity dedicated to supporting vulnerable families in areas such as West Bridgford, Gamston, Edwalton, Keyworth, Cotgrave, Bingham, and East Leake, has launched its 2024 Christmas Shoebox Appeal.

The initiative involves collecting used shoeboxes throughout the year and transforming them into festive gift boxes filled with donated items for adults and children who might not otherwise receive presents.

Rex Gooding, located at 4 Albert Road (opposite M&S), is participating in this appeal by accepting donations. While children’s shoeboxes are now complete, there is still a need for selection boxes. Suggested donation items for adults include toiletries, makeup, candles, gloves, hats, and puzzles.

For more information on how to contribute, please visit Sewa Day’s Christmas Shoebox Appeal page.
