The contest for the leadership was triggered by Liz Truss’ resignation on Friday.
Boris Johnson didn’t content the leadership despite claiming the support of 102 MPs.
Mr Sunak garnered the public support of 193 MPs and Penny Mordaunt 26.
Penny Mordaunt withdrew before 2 pm today Monday 24 October.
