Rushcliffe fire crews release images to warn drivers to be aware of weather conditions

Fire crews released the images after receiving positive news from the family of the victim.

A spokesperson for East Leake Fire Station said:

‘Recently we attended a road traffic collision on Bunny Lane.

‘Due to the unstable condition and injuries of the casualty we did not want to post until we received positive news from the family.

‘The road traffic collision happened in the evening of a wet night following a dry spell and we hope to use this incident as a reminder that road conditions change rapidly during the winter and can catch any driver off guard.

‘There are also 4 other factors that are the main cause of collisions and these are Speeding / Not wearing a Seatbelt / Drink or Drug Driving and driving whilst using a mobile phone.

‘We would like to remind our followers that not only are these against the law, they are also called the Fatal4 for a reason and can have devastating consequences.

‘Please stay safe out there!’
