Police officers in the borough were targeting anti-social driving.
Officers from Rushcliffe Response, Rushcliffe South Neighbourhood Policing and other colleagues from neighbouring areas again encountered car cruising and driving in an anti-social manner on Rushcliffe and neighbouring areas on Sunday evening.
A spokesperson said:
‘Two men were arrested in separate incidents on Sunday evening on suspicion of driving while under the influence of alcohol.
‘One of the men witnessed by an officer from West Bridgford to drive through a red traffic signal was charged with driving while disqualified and failing to provide a specimen of breath for analysis he has been remanded to appear at the next available court.
‘The other man provided a sample of 35 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath which is the legal limit for alcohol as such no further action will be taken.’
