Seven Nottinghamshire Police officers were assaulted during a large disorder in Worksop, officers were punched and kicked and suffered minor injuries.
Officers are now appealing for witnesses following the disturbance outside a snooker club in the Langold.
Officers were quickly on the scene following a report of disorder and arrested a 27-year-old man on suspicion of assaulting emergency workers.
A 31-year-old woman was also detained and has since been charged for Criminal Damage
Lisa Parish is due to appear at Nottingham Magistrates Court on the 29 October 2020.
The man has been released under investigation pending further enquiries.
Bottles and glasses were thrown at the officers, meanwhile, a police vehicle was also targeted.
Police Constable Richie Howcroft is leading the investigation. He said: “The incident happened in Doncaster Road at around 1 am on Sunday morning.
“Thankfully the officers suffered only minor injuries and are now being fully supported following the incident.
“We were quickly on the scene and made two arrests. They have since been released, so we are appealing to the general public to help us with our investigation.
