Family-owned home and furniture retailer Shackletons has officially opened its brand new 10,000 sq ft showroom at Castle Marina Retail Park in Nottingham, marking the latest milestone in the company’s continued expansion.
The new store opened its doors on 22 August following the successful launch of Shackletons Fox Valley in north Sheffield last year.
Occupying the ground floor of a prominent unit at the busy retail park, the showroom shares space with Bensons for Beds and joins a strong line-up of national retailers including DFS, Wren Kitchens, Furniture Village, Homesense and Costa Coffee.
Founded nearly 30 years ago by brothers David and Paul Shackleton, the business has grown from its roots in the Ribble Valley to become a multi-site home and lifestyle brand known for its friendly service, expert product knowledge and carefully curated furniture collections.
Specialising in stylish, high-quality sofas, armchairs and lounge furniture, the new Nottingham store strengthens the retail park’s home and interiors offering.
Visitors can explore a range of premium furniture from leading brands including Nest Space and Calia Italia, alongside Shackletons’ signature collection of lamps, artwork and rugs.
Nest Space and Calia Italia bring a distinctive blend of contemporary design and exceptional craftsmanship to the Nottingham showroom.
Danish-inspired Nest Space is renowned for its clean, modern aesthetic and thoughtful approach to living spaces, offering beautifully crafted sofas and lounge furniture that combine comfort with understated style.
Meanwhile, Calia Italia, one of Italy’s most respected furniture manufacturers, adds a touch of European luxury to the store’s line-up. Renowned for its meticulous craftsmanship and innovative design heritage, the brand creates sofas and lounge furniture that balance striking design with everyday comfort.
The new store has created around five full-time jobs in the area and is led by Area Manager Louise Fearnehough.

The store is now open at Castle Marina Retail Park, Nottingham.
