Officers from Nottinghamshire Police stopped three motorists.
Police said:
‘As a response to concerns raised by residents of Ruddington, Neighbourhood Police officers have carried out a speed check on Wilford Road.
‘Three motorists were recorded in excess of 35 mph in a 30mph limit.
‘These offences were dealt with by way of Traffic Offence Reports.

‘Motorists are reminded that excess speed is one of the four main causes of serious injury or death in Road Traffic Collisions.
