Teachers at Bulwell Academy in Nottingham have staged their latest walkout about how the school operates.
Three days of industrial action will take place this week and a further four are planned for next week.
Parent Sarah Regan said:
‘He did actually say to my partner and said that he would prefer to be in his primary school again than what he would be at academy for the minute.
I mean, it’s upsetting because it’s not just my son. He’s, like, my best friend. I would do anything for him. And this is why I’ve come tonight.”
Another parent Anna Sant said:
‘I’ve attended this meeting again. We haven’t really. Got any answers to our questions, but I do feel a little bit more confident that parents in the community can kind of come together to try and improve things for our children, because at the minute, they’re being failed massively.’
