Nottingham’s tram service is back to a full service this morning after yesterday’s suspension of service.
On Sunday 2 July, all services were suspended on the trams after what was described as a ‘major communications systems failure.’
It happened at around 4:50 pm when NET made the announcement. No further updates were given by the service, leading passengers to vent their anger on social media.
No trams operated until 10:30 pm when NET then updates announcing a full service has resumed.
This morning Monday 3 July, NET said in their morning service update at 7 am:
‘Service update 07:00, We have a frequent service running through to all of our destinations.
‘The 07:22 from Clifton South has been withdrawn from service. There will be trams approx 7 mins either side of this, apologies if this affects your journey.’
