McArthurGlen has confirmed it will end its management of East Midlands Designer Outlet from 1 June 2026.
The company announced the change in a short statement to the centre’s community, saying its management of the outlet will “come to an end” on that date.
No further details have yet been released about who will manage the centre after McArthurGlen, and there is no indication in the announcement that the day-to-day operation of the outlet or its retailers will be affected.
In its statement, McArthurGlen said: “We wanted to share an update with our community.
“As of 1 June 2026, McArthurGlen’s management of the centre will come to an end.
“We’re proud to have managed East Midlands Designer Outlet for nearly three decades and would like to thank our guests, brand partners and local community for being part of that journey.”
The company added that customers could still visit its other designer outlets and directed people to its website for more information.
East Midlands Designer Outlet, near South Normanton, is home to a wide range of retail and food outlets and is a well-known shopping destination for customers across Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and the wider East Midlands.
The announcement appears to relate to a change in the management of the centre rather than any closure or change to trading at the site.
Further details are expected in due course.
