Police are asking for help in identifying three people we would like to speak to after two bikes worth around £17,000 were stolen from a car park in the city centre.
The bikes, described as racing and touring models, were taken after three men forced entry to an underground car park on Summer Leys Lane, at around 1.20am on 9 August.
One of the bikes, a Cannondale, is black, yellow and grey, while the other, a Specialized Crux, is green, black and red.
Police said:
We are now looking to identify three men we would like to speak to, as we believe they may have information that could assist our investigation.’
PC Roger Weir, of the Byron House Response Team, said: “This is an appalling theft, and these bikes would have had not only significant financial value to the victim, but sentimental value too.
“I would ask anyone who recognises the people pictured, sees the bikes advertised online, or who has information about this incident, to please get in touch with us as soon as possible.”
