Uninsured vehicle seized in Cotgrave during fatal four week of action

Police in Rushcliffe are looking for untaxed and uninsured vehicles and drivers.

Police said:

‘On Tuesday 6 December traffic officers from Operational Support have been supporting Rushcliffe’s week of action, looking for drivers committing fatal four offences

‘Whilst on patrol in Cotgrave, they came across a vehicle with NO insurance!

‘No Insurance? No vehicle

‘The vehicle was seized and the driver was reported for driving without insurance.’

The fatal four are the most common causes of road accidents, yet, very easy to avoid. Stay within the speed limit, don’t chat to your phone, always wear a seatbelt and never drive if you plan to drink alcohol.
