Police have closed the A57 at East Markham after a serious crash.

Nottinghamshire Police said at 10 am:
‘Motorists are being urged to avoid the East Markham area following a serious crash.
‘We were called to reports of a two-vehicle collision on the A57 at 7.44am today (13 December).

‘The A57 is currently closed between the junctions with High Street and Askham Road and is expected to remain shut for some time while investigations take place.’
