Video appeal after bike stolen from leisure centre

Police investigating a report of a stolen bike have released CCTV footage of a group of youths they would like to speak with as part of their investigation.

The bike was locked up outside The Portland Centre in Muskham Street, Nottingham, when it was taken at around 3.45pm on 19 August.

It is believed the lock was cut through and the bike then taken.

Nottinghamshire Police has released CCTV of a group they believe may have information that could aid in their enquiries.

PC Tanya Hodgkiss, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “Bike theft is totally unacceptable and we will always look to take action against offenders.

“We would like to speak to those in the CCTV footage as part of our investigation into the incident.

“Anyone who may have witnessed the incident at the time or recognises anyone in the group is asked to get in touch as soon as possible.”
