West Bridgford: Charity fundraiser on Croquet Lawn as new clinic launches

West Bridgford residents are warmly invited to celebrate the launch of Rosem Clinic with a community event and charity fundraiser in support of the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation on World Lung Cancer Day.

The event begins at 10:00am on the Croquet Lawn, Central Avenue, West Bridgford (NG2 5GR), and will feature skincare advice, complimentary treats, treatment tasters, and a raffle with amazing prizes.

At 11:15am, local MP James Naish will lead a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the clinic itself, located a short walk away at No. 4 Tudor Square (Upper Floor), West Bridgford, NG2 6BT.

Organisers said:

‘This day of celebration is also a day of remembrance. The event and all fundraising efforts are held in memory of Ros’s daughter, whose life and legacy have been a key inspiration behind the founding of Rosem. Ros is one of the clinic’s founders, and her story can be read in full at www.rosem.co.uk/charity.

‘Ros and Emma will also be undertaking an interview on BBC Radio Nottingham around 11:10am on Wednesday 30th July to explain the cause in more depth.

‘We will be on hand to offer support and signposting to anyone directly or indirectly affected by lung cancer, and to raise awareness of the link between young women and late diagnosis of non-smokers’ lung cancer, with the aim of preventing others from suffering the same.’
