West Bridgford: Delivery driver threatened and robbed in Millicent Road

Detectives are hunting three suspects after a delivery driver was threatened and robbed in West Bridgford after returning to his van.

One of the suspects had a drill in his hand while two others were unloading the van as the victim was coming back to his vehicle.

Investigations are ongoing into the robbery which happened in Millicent Road, West Bridgford, shortly before 8.25am on Thursday (26 October 2023).

The suspects, who were travelling in a black Alfa Romeo car and wore face coverings,  left the scene after stealing parcels from the van.

Detectives have released CCTV images of the trio they are working hard to trace as they progress with their inquiries into the incident.

One of them is around 6ft tall and of stocky build. He was wearing a black jacket, black trousers, a black woolly hat, and white trainers.

Another was around 6ft tall and of large build. He was wearing a black hat, blue jeans, and black and white footwear.

The third suspect was around the same height and build and was wearing a black jacket with grey torso, a black ski mask with white stripes on the cheeks, and a black hat.

Detective Inspector Simon Harrison, of Nottinghamshire Police, said:

“We’re treating this incident very seriously. While our investigation is in its early stages, we’re keen to hear from anyone who may recognise the suspects from the images and descriptions, and anyone who was in the Millicent Road area at the time of the incident and who may have seen anything suspicious. 

“The same goes for anyone who thinks they may have captured any dashcam, CCTV, or doorbell camera footage which may aid our inquiries into this incident.”
