HSBC in Central Avenue is included in the latest round of bank closures.
69 branches will close because of a move to online banking.
HSBC on Central Avenue and Ilkeston’s branch on Bath Street will both close as long as 67 others in the UK.
The bank says that it will offer more varied services for its customers outside of any traditional high street banking model.
HSBC has confirmed the closure dates too – West Bridgford’s branch will close down on 15 September, 2022. And the Ilkeston bank branch will close on 22 September 22.

A spokesman for the bank added that it hopes to redeploy all 400 staff across the UK to new roles within 15 miles of their homes.
