A host of new features have been installed at the site, including a climbing structure, a balancing trim trail, three social hammocks, four wooden benches, and new inclusive equipment.

This includes a teen workout unit featuring monkey bars and a climbing net, a bird’s nest steel swing, and a teen shelter, alongside the refurbishment of existing play equipment, groundworks, and resurfacing for the park, which is aimed at older children.

Since 2021, improvements have been made at parks and open spaces owned by the Council, including many in West Bridgford and at Rushcliffe Country Park, with other parks across the borough often maintained by Town and Parish Councils and other organisations.
