West Bridgford window smashed by people throwing avocados

Neighbourhood police are investigating after a window was smashed on Bridgford Road.

Officers are appealing for the public’s help following an incident of criminal damage on Bridgford Road, West Bridgford, around 8.45 pm on 4 October 2024.

Police say that it is believed that the window was damaged by a group of young people throwing food items at each other, including avocados and tomatoes.

Police Constable Matthew Holden, of the Rushcliffe neighbourhood policing team, said: “We are looking to identify the young people involved in this incident not only to hold them to account, but also with the aim of educating and diverting them from getting involved in crime and anti-social behaviour.”
