Pub to close temporarily for six-figure refurbishment

The Talbot Inn, a much-loved Greene King pub in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, is set to reopen with an improved look and feel this autumn following a significant investment.

Located on Nottingham Road, the pub will temporarily close to the public from 29 September whilst renovations take place, with the upgraded venue set to reopen its doors in October.

The investment includes a full interior redecoration, with an upgraded bar area ensuring quicker speed of service, while the installation of modern new furniture and lighting will create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for customers. The Talbot Inn’s exterior is also set to be revamped with new lighting and garden furniture to ensure elevated alfresco dining experiences.

Following the official reopening, visitors will be able to make the most of the Greene King app to manage bookings, order and pay from their table at the click of a button. With a top-quality food and drinks menu, partnered with first-class entertainment with the latest live sports fixtures available on Sky Sports and TNT Sports, the Talbot Inn offers something for everyone to enjoy.
