Detective Inspector Chris Berryman, of Nottinghamshire Police, said:

“Although incidents of this nature understandably cause concern in communities, we believe the people involved were known to each other.

“We also do not believe there is any wider risk to residents in the neighbourhood.

“Although we have made an arrest, our investigation remains ongoing and we still want to hear from anyone with any information.

“We’d particularly urge anyone with any relevant mobile phone, doorbell, CCTV or dashcam footage to get in touch.”
