Woman charged after television stolen in Arboretum burglary

Police have charged a suspect after a television was stolen from a living room during a burglary.

An investigation was launched following the incident which happened at an address in Lawson Street, Arboretum, Nottingham, on Saturday (26 November 2023).

A 44-year-old woman of no fixed address, has been charged with burglary and theft.

She was due to appear at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court on 28 November.

Detective Sergeant Rob Palethorpe, of Nottinghamshire Police, said:

“We take all reports of burglary extremely seriously and we work hard every day with our partners to prevent house burglaries taking place.

“However, when they do occur, we attend each and every offence, investigate, and will always do everything we can to bring offenders to justice.”
