Police are appealing for witnesses after a man sadly died in a three-car collision in Ashbourne.
At 2.40pm on Tuesday 1 September we were called to a report of a collision on The Green Road.
Three vehicles were involved, a Seat Ibiza, a Volkswagen Golf and a Mazda 3.
Sadly, a man aged in his 80s died at the scene and our thoughts are with his family and friends at this time.
Officers investigating the collision would like to hear from anyone who was travelling in the area at the time and witnessed the incident.
Anyone with dashcam or private CCTV installed nearby, is asked to review their footage in case it captured the incident.
Any footage which may be of use to officers should be downloaded to separate, secure device ready for them to view.
