Wildfire breaks out in Derbyshire valley

Crews from Long Eaton Fire Station are currently in attendance at the wild fire in the Goyt Valley.

Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service said:

‘It’s getting hot out there – with temperatures set to reach highs of 27°C across some parts of England tomorrow, the risk of wildfire is real.

‘Help protect our countryside:

‘Avoid lighting campfires or using disposable barbecues, especially in parks, forests, and open spaces
