Chief Inspector Craig Berry, of Nottinghamshire Police has issued a plea to social media users following a multi-vehicle collision in Nottingham which has left several seriously injured.
Chief Inspector Berry said:
“We appreciate the public’s patience as we continue to deal with this serious incident and work to understand what happened.
“We’re aware of a video that has been circulated online related to one of the casualties following this collision.
“Please do not share this footage out of respect for the man’s family and report it to the relevant social media platform to prevent further circulation.”
Any witnesses who have not yet provided information are urged to call 101 quoting incident number 275 of 9 December.
