Road users in Nottingham are being advised to allow extra time for journeys as a series of roadworks, closures and temporary traffic signals continue across the city.
The works include long-running closures for utility works, resurfacing schemes and temporary lane restrictions affecting several routes.
Lindfield Road is closed between Alwyn Road and Shipley Road from Sunday 15 March until Friday 21 August while Severn Trent carries out works.
A lane closure is also in place on Nuthall Road, between Western Boulevard and Melbourne Road, from Monday 20 April until Friday 17 July for footway works.
In Derby Road, a lane closure continues until Saturday 6 June for resurfacing works. The restriction has been in place since Thursday 23 April.
Temporary two-way traffic lights are operating at the Green Lane junction of Farnborough Road through to the junction of Clifton Lane for Cadent Gas works. These are scheduled to remain in place from Friday 15 May until Monday 8 June.
Carriageway resurfacing works are also affecting Melbourne Road, Robins Wood Road and Aspley Lane, with road closures and no-stopping restrictions in place from Monday 18 May until Sunday 31 May.
Emergency National Grid works are taking place in Canning Terrace, where a lane closure is in force from Wednesday 27 May until Tuesday 2 June.
Waverley Street is affected by road closures from Friday 29 May until Saturday 30 May for NET tram works.
Further resurfacing work is taking place at the Melbourne Road junction with Hilcot Drive. Three-way traffic lights are in operation from Friday 29 May until Wednesday 3 June, before a road closure is introduced at the junction from Thursday 4 June until Sunday 7 June.
Drivers are advised to check their routes before travelling, particularly during peak periods, as delays are possible around the affected roads.
