A prolific thief and burglar has been returned to prison.
Robert Sisson, 37, was caught on CCTV on the evening of 17 March this year as he helped himself to a TV from a block of flats on Garfield Road, Radford.
Sisson, who has multiple previous convictions for theft and burglary offences, was later identified from the CCTV footage and arrested.
While in custody, he refused to be interviewed by officers or explain his actions.
He later pleaded guilty to burglary. He also admitted two shop thefts on 23 and 28 March, as well as stealing an electric scooter on 4 April.
Appearing at Nottingham Crown Court on Wednesday, 27 May, Sisson, of Gabrielle Close, Nottingham, was jailed for 876 days – just short of two years and five months.
PC Imran Ahmed, of Nottinghamshire Police, said:
“Sisson is a prolific offender who is no stranger to prison.
“He has been offered multiple chances in the past to change his ways but has so far shown little sign of doing so.
“For as long as he continues with this kind of offending, we will continue to arrest, charge, and bring him before the courts.”
