Lady Bay Open Gardens 2026 returns this month

Lady Bay Open Gardens is back for 2026, taking place on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th June from 11 am to 4 pm.

Firmly established as one of the area’s most popular community events, Lady Bay Open Gardens sees residents across Lady Bay throw open their garden gates to welcome visitors into their horticultural havens, attracting visitors from far and wide.

This year’s event promises to be bigger and better than ever, featuring a stunning display of 27 full-size and wheelbarrow gardens.

Residents across Lady Bay will be opening their gates to showcase their horticultural havens, with some even participating in the “Garden in a Wheelbarrow” competition, where you can vote for your favourite! In addition, several gardens will be hosting live music, making the event even more enjoyable for visitors.

The starting point for this year’s event will be either 45 Pierrepont Road or 28 Pierrepont Road, where programmes will be available to purchase or exchange for advance tickets. Admission is £5 per person (under-18s free) and covers both Saturday and Sunday, with proceeds from the event going to the Lady Bay Community Fund; many gardeners are also raising money for charities of their choice.
