A man and a woman have been arrested after officers executed a warrant at an address in Mansfield.
Police carried out the warrant at a property in Cavendish Road shortly before 12pm on Wednesday 10 June.
During a search of the address, officers found two bags of suspected heroin inside a bathroom waste pipe. A quantity of cash, mobile phones, bundles of unlicensed medication which can be used for weight loss treatment, and an offensive weapon, described as a knuckle duster, were also seized.
A 53-year-old man and a 49-year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a Class A drug, heroin, possession of an offensive weapon, and the supply of unlicensed medication.
Police said inquiries are continuing to establish the scale of the suspected operation.
Neighbourhood Inspector Katie Eustace said: “Thanks to community intelligence, we were able to execute a warrant at an address in Cavendish Road.
“Not only did we take away suspected drugs; we also seized a large quantity of cash and mobile phones.
“We are now working to discover the full scale of this operation.”
