Fog is expected to become widespread across Nottinghamshire and the East Midlands overnight, with dense patches potentially affecting Monday morning journeys.
Patches will form readily during Sunday evening, 8 November, and overnight, becoming extensive by Monday morning.
Visibility could fall to around 50 metres or less in some places.
The fog is expected to thin slowly later on Monday morning, meaning poor visibility could persist through the morning rush hour.
