The A1 in Nottinghamshire is closed northbound between A57/A638 (Markham Moor) and A614 (Upper Morton), due to a lorry shedding its load across the carriageway.
Nottinghamshire Police is on scene and National Highways Service Providers are en route to assist with the incident.
Diversion Route
Road users are advised to follow the solid square diversion symbol on road signs:
- Exit the A1 onto the A638
- Travel along the A638 through Gamston, Retford, Barnby Moor towards Bawtry
- At the junction with the A614, turn left onto the A614
- Travel south on the A614 and rejoin the A1 at Blyth
