Diversion Route
Road Users are advised to follow the solid circle diversion symbol if heading southbound.
- From the M1 Junction 24, continue southbound on the M1 towards Junction 23, approximately 6 miles.
- At Junction 23, exit the M1 and follow the junction around to rejoin the M1 northbound (for Nottingham, Derby, East Midlands)
- Continue northbound for approximately 5 miles, then exit at Junction 23A (East Midlands Airport).
- At Finger Farm Roundabout, rejoin the A453.
