The closures are required because bad weather prevented completion of the work.
National Highways said:
‘Earlier this year we resurfaced the A52 between the Bardills and Bramcote roundabouts near Stapleford.
‘Bad weather stopped us completing the work so we’re coming back next week to finish the rest.
‘We need to close the eastbound carriageway between the two roundabouts for two nights, 8pm to 6am, on Thursday 12 and Friday 13 March.

‘A52 traffic will be diverted along the B6003 and the A6005 through Toton, Chilwell and Beeston to rejoin the A52 at Dunkirk island.
‘Other diversions will be in place for local traffic. Follow the signs and allow extra time for your journeys.’
