Overnight road closures and lane restrictions will be in place around the A52 Clifton Bridge in October while National Highways carries out work on high mast lighting.
The work is scheduled between Monday 5 October and Tuesday 13 October 2026, with crews working on weekdays from 8pm to 6am.
National Highways said the work would ensure all lanterns are working correctly and the area remains well illuminated.
From Monday 5 October to Wednesday 7 October, the link from the A453 northbound to the A52 westbound will be closed, including the slip road from Silverdale Island.
The right turn to Silverdale will also be unavailable during this period, although National Highways said it aims to remove that restriction as soon as possible.
A lane closure will also be in place on the A52 eastbound between Queens Drive roundabout and Silverdale for the safety of workers and road users.
On Thursday 8 October, the A52 Queens Drive Flyover will be closed overnight. Queens Drive Island will remain open.
From Friday 9 October to Tuesday 13 October, lane closures will be in place on Queens Drive alongside the park and ride site. These restrictions form part of the weekday overnight programme, with no weekend working scheduled.
National Highways said fully signed diversion routes, agreed with the local authority, would be in place during the closures.
