The A52 is closed in West Bridgford from Gamston island after an incident this morning.
National Highways – 2 pm – Traffic has now been STOPPED on the A52 eastbound in Nottinghamshire between the A6011 (Gamston) and the A46 near Bingham.
This is to allow recovery to take place for this incident.
There are very long delays on approach so please allow extra journey time.
A JCB digger fell from a vehicle after the lorry it was travelling on overturned near the RSPCA site.
Emergency services are at the scene.
The road was closed eastbound from around 11:30 am today, but has now been closed in both directions for a ‘complex recovery’ say partners.
