Next weekend, Ambleside in Gamston will close from its junction with Stavely Way in a northerly direction to its junction with A6011 Radcliffe Road.
Work to correct previously defective work will be carried out by Bethell Utilities Services Ltd.
The roadworks are scheduled to begin at 07:30 hours on Saturday, 11th November 2023, and are expected to be completed by 16:30 hours on Sunday, 12th November 2023.
During this period, motorists will face a temporary prohibition.
Additionally, the left lane on the A6011 Radcliffe Road will be closed in a westerly direction, stretching from Old Tollerton Road to Ambleside. This closure will affect buses that turn left into Ambleside. Additionally, the right turning lane from the A6011 Radcliffe Road (eastbound) into Ambleside will also be closed to traffic.
Diversion
The recommended diversion route will direct traffic to the A6011 Radcliffe Road, then onto A60 Loughborough Road, followed by A606 Melton Road, through Melton Gardens in Edwalton, and Beckside in West Bridgford, and vice versa.
