Part of the A1 southbound, near South Muskham was closed following a road traffic collision involving several vehicles yesterday evening.
Police said:
‘A 40-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving, drug driving and failing to stop.
‘Drivers are thanked for their patience whilst officers responded to the incident, and those on the road that were advised to avoid the area.
‘No one is believed to have suffered serious injuries.
