Police are appealing for witnesses to the assault of a woman in Long Eaton.
The incident took place on Wednesday 3 July in Lower Brook Street, close to the old fountain, and officers are keen to speak to anyone who saw anything between 3.20pm and 5.30pm.
The incident involved a woman in her 40s who was assaulted by a man, also in his 40s, who was wearing blue joggers with white stripes down the side, a black North Face hooded top, a black baseball cap and black trainers.
A man from Long Eaton has been arrested in connection with the incident and has been released on police bail.
