Appeal to return family jewellery following house burglary

Police are appealing to the public after these pieces of jewellery were all taken in a burglary.

Intruders broke into the Wollaton home before filling a bag with a selection of valuables made of gold.

Bangles, bracelets, chains, rings and necklaces were among the items stolen from the property during the break-in.

Inquiries have been ongoing ever since 27 August to locate the jewellery – most of which is of deep sentimental value.

Officers can now release images of some of the pieces stolen, with a view to hopefully seeing them returned to their rightful owners.

Detective Constable Mark Shirra, of Nottinghamshire Police, said:

“As you would expect, this incident has caused immense distress and upset to the homeowners.

“While obviously being of high financial value, more importantly, the jewellery stolen has deep sentimental value to the victims too.

“Our hope is that releasing these images publicly helps us to identify this property, so that it can then be returned.

“If you recognise any of these valuables, have been offered any, or have any knowledge of their potential whereabouts, we’d ask that you please share this information with us.”

Any information can be reported directly to the police on 101, quoting incident 704 of 27 August 2026, while Crimestoppers can also be contacted anonymously on 0800 555 111.
