Yesterday, Officers became aware that a white Ford Transit van, declared as being SORN, was driving along Debdale Lane in Keyworth.
Police said:
‘Officers attempted to stop the vehicle with lights and sirens however the driver had other ideas and failed to stop! The pursuit then continued through the streets of Keyworth.
‘The pursuit was quickly brought to a safe stop and the driver was arrested.

‘The driver has been charged with the following offences:-
– Possession of a controlled drug of Class B, namely Cannabis
– Fail to stop a mechanically propelled vehicle when required by a constable
– Driving whilst disqualified
– Driving without due care or attention
