Police have arrested two suspects after a food delivery rider had his e-bike stolen.
A Just Eat rider was collecting an order from inside Roosters Chicken, in Aspley Lane, Aspley, when he saw a group of youths taking his e-bike.
When the rider chased after the group, it was reported one of them brandished a knife.
The incident happened at approximately 8pm on Saturday (21 February).
Following inquiries, two boys – both aged 16 – were later arrested in connection with the theft.
They were taken into custody for questioning before being released on bail pending further investigation work.
Detective Sergeant Alana Scott, of Nottinghamshire Police, said:
“Incidents such as this can be a deeply distressing, especially when a weapon is involved.
“We are in the early stages of our inquiries and are determined to bring those involved to justice.
“Bearing this in mind, we’d ask anyone who witnessed what happened, or has any other information that could help our investigation, to please get in touch.
“This can be reported either to the police by calling 101, quoting incident 602 of 21 February 2026, or by ringing Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
