Body found in River Trent in search for missing man

The circumstances surrounding his death are still being investigated, but are not thought to be suspicious at this time.

PUBLISHED:

A body recovered from the River Trent near Dunham Bridge, on 3 December 2019 has been formally identified as being that of missing man Michal Krysztofczyk.

Michal, 27, was reported missing from Cross Street, Newark, on 18 November 2019.

The circumstances surrounding his death are still being investigated, but are not thought to be suspicious at this time.

Michal’s family has been informed and the death has been referred to the Coroner.

Nottinghamshire Police would like to thank everyone who called in sightings and shared our appeals to help find Michal.
