Roadworks could delay buses on Radcliffe Road in West Bridgford from Monday 2 November, while a closure at Thorneywood Mount will divert Nottingham City Transport’s Blue 39 for a week.
Trentbarton has also confirmed changes to services in Bingham and Calverton for Remembrance Sunday.
In West Bridgford, work at the junction of Radcliffe Road and Abbey Road is scheduled between 9.30am and 3.30pm from Monday 2 November until Friday 4 December. NCT says Green 12 and Pathfinder 90 could be delayed. In Lady Bay, roadworks on Trent Boulevard have closed the Seymour Road stops in both directions for the 11 and 11C.
At Thorneywood, the Blue 39 will divert in both directions from Monday 2 to Monday 9 November. Between Beacon Hill Rise and Porchester Road, buses will use St Matthias Road and Carlton Road. Passengers can board at stops along the diversion, including temporary stops on St Matthias Road.
In Nottingham city centre, passengers heading to Strelley or Bulwell on Turquoise 77, 77C, 78, 78A, 78B, 79 and 79B should use stop T7 on Burton Street, beside The Cornerhouse. The services are missing their usual stops at Maid Marian Way, Broadmarsh, George Street, Fletcher Gate and Victoria Centre throughout the day while demolition work continues.
City-bound Navy 1, 4, 48 and 48A buses and Pathfinder 90 are missing stop M5 outside the former college on Maid Marian Way. Red 45 and 45B passengers who usually board near The Salutation should use M2 outside Nottingham Lighting Centre.
Roadworks have also taken the 18A off Thoresby Road and part of Derby Road in both directions until further notice. At Nottingham City Hospital, the closure of Linden Way means Blue 40A buses enter through Gate 4 and finish at the Radiotherapy stop on North Road. Passengers travelling back towards the city should board there. Pathfinder 26 passengers can expect delays at Lowdham roundabout, where work is expected to continue until autumn 2027.
On Remembrance Sunday, 8 November, Bingham Market Place will close from 10am to 11.25am. Trentbarton’s mainline buses towards Radcliffe-on-Trent, West Bridgford and Nottingham will miss Cherry Street and the Market Place. Passengers should use nearby stops. Buses will wait at the White Lion if needed to keep to the timetable.
In Calverton, Main Street and Mansfield Lane will close from 9am to noon that Sunday. Trentbarton’s the calverton will divert along Mews Lane, Collyer Road, Flatts Lane and Park Lane.
A further diversion is planned at Sneinton Hermitage on Thursday 12 November. From 7pm until the end of service that night, NCT’s Red 44 will use Manvers Street and Daleside Road in both directions between Sneinton Hermitage and Racecourse Park and Ride. Passengers who usually board on Sneinton Hermitage or Colwick Road can use the Red 43 on Sneinton Dale or catch the diverted 44 on Daleside Road.
