Wollaton Barbers will celebrate its 25th anniversary on Saturday 7 November.
Some of the boys who had their first haircuts there as toddlers now return as grown men.
The shop opened on the corner of Birchwood Road and Trowell Road in Wollaton in November 2001, offering haircuts for men and boys. Some customers have been coming since it opened.

Owner Anne Hargreaves said: “We love our job and the relationships we have built over the years with all our clients – it is a privilege to get to know them and their families.”

The shop’s youngest customer is eight months old. Its oldest is Keith, 99, who has been promised a party in the shop when he turns 100.

In 2019, the business opened Kool Kidz Cutz, where children can watch cartoons while they have their hair cut. They can choose to sit in a miniature Lamborghini, a Spider-Man car, a truck or a police car.
Anne and manager Kelly Markham have also helped train young staff. In 2021, the business became a training academy under the name Nottingham Barbering Academy.
