Two cars were seized after roads policing officers stopped drivers who allegedly breached provisional licence rules.
Nottinghamshire Police said the driver of a red Vauxhall Corsa was on the way to a driving test centre when officers stopped the vehicle.
The car was seized after officers found the driver was allegedly travelling without L plates, a suitable supervising passenger or valid insurance.

Later in the same shift, officers stopped the driver of a silver Honda Civic after reportedly seeing the car remaining in lane three of the M1. Police also discovered a crack in its windscreen.
Officers said the motorist held a provisional licence but was driving without L plates or an appropriate supervisor.
The Civic was also recovered.
