Covid: Over-65s urged to book their vaccinations online or by phone – NOT to wait for a letter

The vaccination programme in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire is underway and this week  the programme opened up to the over 65s.

Nottingham and Nottinghamshire CCG said:

‘Please urge your friends and family to book an appointment if they are eligible, there is no need to wait for your letter. We have 11 sites offering the life-saving vaccine throughout the weekend to the most vulnerable in our community. We are also offering the vaccine at a number of pop-up clinics across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire.’

If you know someone who is eligible for their Covid-19 vaccination, there are different things you can do to help. This includes helping them to book their appointment and sharing tips to help them prepare for their Covid-19 vaccine appointment. Anyone over the age of 65, or under 65 and classed as Clinically Extremely Vulnerable (CEV), can now book their Covid-19 vaccine appointment online. This can be doing by using online booking system SwiftQueue.
