Derby Road, between QMC and Priory Island, will be closed from 9 January for approx 12 weeks to facilitate gas works.
During this time, Orange 35, and 36 towards Bulwell and Chilwell will divert via Clifton Boulevard and University Boulevard, where the 36 will continue onto Broadgate and the 35 onto Woodside Road.
Due to the nature of the diversion route and expected traffic levels, severe delays are expected throughout.
Buses towards Nottingham will follow their normal route.
