A drug dealer tried and failed to flush his stash down the toilet after he was caught short by a police visit.
Tobe Ojukwe was perched on the toilet following a warrant at Stockwell Court, Mansfield, on 6 June 2024.
As he was apprehended, police found a bag containing 94 wraps of heroin and 37 wraps of crack cocaine floating at the top of the toilet bowl.
Ojukwe was already under investigation for drug dealing following a car stop on 1 August 2023.
The 29-year-old was pursued by officers to Padley Hill, Mansfield, as intelligence suggested he was uninsured on the car.
Once a search of the vehicle took place, he was caught with over £450 worth of crack cocaine and heroin.
Police also seized mobile phones and cash.

Ojukwu detained during the car stop
More damning evidence came when Ojukwe’s phone was searched and text messages detailing his drug supply were uncovered.
In one text message, he discussed how much of a risk the “drug business is like”.
He was left with no choice but to plead guilty to six counts of possession with the intent to supply Class A drugs.

Ojukwe, of Froghopper Lane, Sutton-in-Ashfield, was jailed for six years and six months when he appeared at Nottingham Crown Court for sentencing on Tuesday 31 March.
PC Dean Fenton, of Nottinghamshire Police, said:
“Ojukwe is a persistent criminal who tried and failed twice to outsmart the police as the inevitable consequences of his trade caught up with him.
“Illegal drugs are a blight on our communities and we are committed to taking dealers like Ojukwe off of our streets.
“If people are dealing drugs in our community, they can be assured that they too can expect to come face to face with us.”
